Very funny.
That's freaking awesome! I love it!!! We should have more advertisements like this.... :)
Too bad Subaru only won the 2l - 2.5l category, BMW took the overall Grand Prize.
Oh, That is precious!LMAO!
viva la nation
-golfer
ahahahah LOL
for the record.... The Bentley CEO is prolly flipping off whoever wrote the text for the Audi ad. Because his Bentley won the 24 Hours in 2003 with Tom Kristensen
viva la nation

hilarious
Para ser chulo en esta vida hay que tener un par de cojones y sobre todo MUCHO dinero.
Bentley and Audi are owned by VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group). Probably have the same ad agency. But I like the fact he's giving it to them all.
platinum!
ha ha
Bentley is pretty, but thats all they have on those other 3.
Awesome - just awesome!
Oh, please tell me that's a real ad. I mean, I'll never be able to own a Bentley, but that's just a balls to the wall thing to do.
This is great...lol.
lol!
platinum!
Nice succession of adds, if they are all true.
I'd like to see other auto manufactures copy BMW and create some good short films subtly highlighting their cars. One can only watch Ronin so many times.
Nothing works like sarcasm ... and crude sign language .. he he
i lol'd
approved comments, how US gov of you
bentley is a great piece of craftsmanship, hell you could probably sleep better in it than your own bed.... too bad they arent ever going to be even close to as reliable as the top 3
almost funny, but not quite.
Photoshoped but funny.
The only reason Bentley won is because Audi sat out that year. the R8 OWNS LeMans. Im not even gonna mention the R10 which pretty much embarrassed everyone else at LeMans. A Diesel won LeMans LMFAO!!!
Funny! Did the ad from Bentley really run?
quote "bentley is a great piece of craftsmanship, hell you could probably sleep better in it than your own bed.... too bad they arent ever going to be even close to as reliable as the top 3"
considering that bentley is owned by the vw/audi group, and is powered by a vw/audi designed motor I doubt that reliability is as much of a concern as you make it out to be.
funny stuff.
dang you ST stop Stalking me!

lol i can never escape the long arm of ST.

Things that make you say hmm... If Audi won the LeMans races from 2000 through 2006, wouldn't that be seven consecutive races, and not six?
That's rich. Excellent - thanks for posting.
Yes, Audi has done very well at LeMans -- in the absence of Porsche. Very interesting how Piech -- Ferry's nephew and racing director for Porsche in the 60s and 70s -- had a chat with Porsche's management and they decided to stop competing at the highest levels for a few years.
"almost funny, but not quite."
that's because you own a subaru. heh.
this all must be photoshopped because 2000-2006 would be 7 consecutive years
"Anonymous said... Too bad Subaru only won the 2l - 2.5l category, BMW took the overall Grand Prize."
And considering that they only make 3 size engines (2.0, 2.5, 3.0) That's pretty darn good. And there is only one model that has the 3.0 (Outback H6)
I actually LOL'd.
The bird... priceless.
You hold the "winner" title up until the day of the next years race. Winning in 2005 would make these claims correct through much of 2006, until the next race.
M still not able to stop laughing!
Haha is good.
Bentley only won Le Mans because the Bentley LM Car was in fact an R8 in drag, the same engineers that developed the R8 also developed the Bentley. Hence why Audi sat out :-)
Audi kick ass!!!
I NEEDED A LAUGH!!! This is hilarious!!!
LOL
They all can make great ads, but only Subaru comes close to being anything reliable. Other than that, they can all show fingers to each other... and customers.
From a South African, I can tell you that the Audi, BMW and Subaru adverts are all genuine.
I've never seen the Bentley one, though.
good find...especially if you did it yourself...great set of pictures, and perfect selection of bentley as your final punchline.
Um the 2003 Le Mans winner was a Bentley. They came second too.
Though I guess that's how Audi can claim they won because they own Bentley.
But very funny.
I laughed and then realised after all these years I now know which finger to use!!
Brilliant!
German cars very unreliable, good ads though
These cars are like Throughbread race horses, they look fantastic & run loke hell for a few years then need to be put out to pasture. Good ol' Detroit iron may not lok as fancy or run so fast, but like a sturdy Draft Horse will run for ever with a modicun of TLC. Or maby just an oil change once a year wether they need it or not!!!!
lol
i love bentley's ad agency
:P
To the dumbasses that say Bentley is flipping off Audi...Audi/VW OWN Bentley you dumbasses. Frickin' idiots. Audi/VW also owns Lamborghini ya maroons.
Someone mentioned Piech was Ferry Porsche's Nephew. They forgot to add that the Porsche/Piech family, alomg with Porsche AG stock holdings, now control all of the VW/Audi/Bentley firm. ALso, the new Porsche LMP2 Spyder is humiliating all the LMP1 cars other than the Audi.
Is the only word in Americans' vocabulary these days "Awesome". And I thought Webster wrote dictionaries for you.
...Ok. So far we've established that people are a bunch of "maroons" for not knowing that VAG owns Lambo, because everything else about it has been covered so far.
We've also been enlightened about the fact that between 2000 and 2006 there were 7 races. Thanks, mates. We've all failed basic math, along with the people that make $150,000 a year coming up with these ads. You, gentlemen, have noticed that which hundreds of executives just happened to miss. Please. Write them a letter, they'll fix it. I promise.
Since the Audi ad is geared towards BMW, then using the 2003 win by Bentley is completely justified. But thanks to all you fine young lads for establishing the fact that Bentley is affiliated with VAG, but its win doesn't count, because that screws up the math in the ad. And if the ad isn't messed up, then it can't be real, and therefore funny.
And to those of you debating the comfort and reliability of a Bentley...Please tell me what justifies you even commenting about one, when you probably drive an '89 CRX.
Arguing over the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics. It really doesn't matter whether you win or lose, you're still a retard.
Cheers.

cars r cool
hehe, that's Shweet~
That is, indeed, a beautiful thing. -applause-
ok, ok, ok
00-06: 7 races, 6 won by audi...it makes sense.
"These cars are like Throughbread race horses, they look fantastic & run loke hell for a few years then need to be put out to pasture. Good ol' Detroit iron may not lok as fancy or run so fast, but like a sturdy Draft Horse will run for ever with a modicun of TLC.
Even though AUDI is about the most reliable engine in the world (for the long haul) you are still ignoring that american made cars dont even come close to meeting the emissions standards of the europeans. If we got rid of ALL american SUV's and cars we would have much less of an envirnomental and oil crisis
That's funny. Is it photoshopped?
very nice and LOL!

Yes! And that fact is awesome by itself. Awesome like a hot dog!
Orin-
You completely missed the point all the other commenters were making.
They were calling into question the likelyhood that these are photoshoped images and not actual advertisement material.
However, they were NOT trying to point out marketing flaws.
I hate pretentious fucks who drive dumb showy cars. Don't you self-absorbed pricks know that inconspicuous wealth is as offensive as tubgirl and goatse combined.

Uhm... once a year? Good luck with getting detroit muscle to last on that. Every 3 months or 3,000 miles is what is recommended.
Shut the fuck up you faggot car freaks, this post is about the ads.
hahaha it's fun lotz
i dont know about other german cars, but VW cars are reliable as hell. we had one for over ten years, put almost 200,000 miles on it then it died. in my book, thats pretty good
iX98S3 Your blog is great. Articles is interesting!
szczpR write more, thanks.
Woooow.. I love this supercar, it is the best of Audi in last years. Here is more interesting info. about this Greta car: http://passioncars.blogspot.com
Just a late reply to the earlier comment on being Photoshoped.
There's nothing Photoshopped about it... it all actually went down in fullpage spreads :)
